Hatha Yoga Classes


Yoga therapy is offered as private sessions to develop a rehabilitative practice specifically targeted to address your health concerns. It compliments other traditional modalities and is becoming more widely recommended by health practitioners to deepen the healing. Yoga therapy goes beyond physical movement; inviting the breath, and the mind into the healing process to address other elements that may be affecting your health. Advanced postural and Ayurvedic assessments are conducted to identify therapeutic techniques that are best suited for your individual needs.

Everything in your body and mind are connected and you will learn how to unite them together to give all you can to your healing. When you practice yoga, you experience the healing power of the breath, the movement and the mind to:

Private Sessions – $60.00/ hour.  Sessions are different for each individual and considers your needs and expectations as well as your spiritual interests.  This is up to you. The sessions may include pranayama (breath), asana (movement), mantras (sound healing), mudras (hand gestures), Ayurveda (balancing your nutrition and eating habits), integration of neurophysiology or other techniques that help you to find balance and healing in your life.

Semi-Private Yoga Classes – If you have a group of 3 or more friends that would like to come to yoga but prefer a more personalized setting; this class would work for you.  The class is focused on the collective needs of your group. We can set up a class time just for you at a very reasonable rate based on the size of your group. Cost varies based on the size of the group.

Group Yoga Classes – Yoga classes are taught in a gentle environment. You learn to improve your breathing patterns; moving the body with the breath and the breath with the body. Poses are taught slowly and mindfully so you can improve your alignment. You will gently stretch and strengthen your body to release muscle tension. Each class is different; focusing on specific muscle groups and understanding the correlation between the body, the mind and the emotions. Classes end with guided deep relaxation.

Workshops and Events – Workshops are offered to address specific needs, deepen your practice and gain a better understanding of how yoga can improve how you feel.
