We all know that moving the body helps us to maintain and improve our mobility, range of motion, flexibility and strength. But how can you find a way to move your body when you are in constant pain? Do you ever experience flare ups while doing something one time and not the other?

I use therapeutic techniques to work with the challenges you are facing; instead of against them. The techniques help to empower you, so that you can be aware of what your body needs without pushing too far.

FIBROMYALGIA AND CHRONIC PAIN – Yoga therapy is based on teachings from Yoga Therapy training and what I have learned through personal experience with chronic pain, fatigue and fibromyalgia. Therapy is practiced in a nurturing, comforting, and supportive environment.

I help students learn how

  • manage mornings,
  • increase energy levels and motivation,
  • calm the mind,
  • improve concentration and memory,
  • learn to find your edge and move the body without triggering flare ups,

This group is for those who wish to discover the tools available to manage chronic pain, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. It is a place to connect with others and share common struggles and techniques that are helpful for the healing process. You will learn more about what is happening in your body and use therapeutic yoga techniques to heal. This group is not about movement.
